2026-27 Application

Join Skyline’s Inaugural Teen Board for the 2026-27 School year!

Join us as we launch our first ever Teen Board of Directors! We are seeking high school Freshman-Seniors who are looking to sharpen their leadership skills while learning about Skyline’s mission and making an impact through volunteer and fundraising efforts. Applications are open from March 15- May 31st, and require a letter of recommendation. More detailed information about program requirements and expectations is available in the “Teen Board Handbook” link. Selected participants will be notified in early July, and the opening retreat is scheduled for Saturday, August 15th from 9:00 am- 11:30 am.

Teen Board Goals

  • Increase awareness of Skyline’s programs (Food Resource Center, Mobile Pantry, Garden, Eye Clinic and Style Shop) among youth in the OKC metro.

  • Support Skyline through volunteer service hours.

  • Have FUN and build relationships with other service-minded teens.

  • Plan and execute:

    • One Fall Outreach Activity (in-kind drive or fundraising effort)

    • One Spring Outreach Activity (in-kind drive or fundraising effort)

  • Develop leadership skills and nonprofit knowledge through participation in 4-6 meetings during the school year.
